Shabu En Review: A New King Of AYCE Hot Pot?
Been hearing a ton of buzz about a new all you can eat hot pot restaurant called Shabu En. Theres a ton of options in Chinatown, Katy Asia Town, and elsewhere for people to get their shabu shabu fix, and there seems to be a new joint opening every month. Shabu En has been getting great reviews for its "luxurious" and even "high end" presentation of the all you can eat shabu shabu experience. My family and I decided to take the plunge and try it out for lunch. We were not disappointed and found Shabu En to be at or near the top in terms of service, variety and quality of meat and sides, and cleanliness. In fact, at the end of my mean, I was hard pressed to think of a place I would rank above Shabu En if you are looking for the best all you can eat hot pot experience. ​I think Shabu En opened up less than a year ago. The 3 things that stood out to me were:
1.) Shaved ice for dessert - pretty cool because you don't really see this often at buffets
2.) Lobster tank - a la carte item, nice add on to your hot pot if you want something super fresh and live
3.) The inside decor was crazy nice especially for an AYCE hot pot restaurant Shabu En Address: 9110 Bellaire Blvd Ste B Houston, TX 77036
